At Young Voices Association, our mission is to empower young voices in our community through various community initiatives. We believe that every youth, including immigrants, should have the opportunity to express themselves, engage in public speaking programs, and make a meaningful difference.
Young Voices was founded by two students dedicated to making a positive impact through community initiatives. Our mission is to support immigrants and others in need by implementing various programs, including public speaking programs, that promote social welfare and youth empowerment.
Our team is composed of talented debaters and public speakers, and we are fortunate to have Samantha Chan Leo Chan among us. Samantha has participated in prestigious debate tournaments, including those at Waterloo, Queen's, McGill, the University of Toronto, and Western. Her impressive accomplishments include reaching the Junior Finals at Waterloo and winning Junior Finals at Western. We’re also excited to have Leo Chan, a great public speaker, helping with our public speaking programs. Leo has run many clinics and represented his school in several competitions. Samantha and Leo are passionate about using their skills for youth empowerment and community initiatives that create a positive impact on immigrants and others.
We are very lucky to be sponsored by MCRL OVERSEAS GROUP and Sunshine and Joyce Property Management, who support our community initiatives aimed at helping immigrants. Their backing enables us to run public speaking programs that focus on youth empowerment.
