Competitive Debate at Young Voices Association

  • Research and critical thinking
  • Tournament preparation

Written for our students

Lessons built on original stories

Some of our lessons are taught using original short fiction and poetry written by our own published authors. Because we write the material ourselves, every story is chosen to match the reading level, interests, and language abilities of the students in the room, and each one doubles as a springboard for discussion, performance, and creative writing.

  • Original short fiction and poetry, written in house
  • Written to suit a range of English language abilities
  • Used as prompts for discussion, performance, and creative writing
